This casement window had severe wood rot along the bottom of the sash, caused by long-term moisture exposure. The damaged wood weakened the structural integrity of the sash and prevented the crank hardware from operating properly.
We removed the deteriorated section, rebuilt the sash with durable, rot-resistant materials, and restored the sealing around the frame. The window now operates smoothly again and is protected against further moisture issues.
